Collyweston Historical Society is grateful to have been able to secure grant funding of £9500 to enable us to get properties in hall yard surveyed by Ground Penetrating Radar.

Following on from the success of the GPR technoclogy in the palace gardens the state of the are geophys will hopefully enable us to tell if we have found the elusive 16th century Collyweston Palace of Lady Margaret Beaufort.

Geophys has been scheduled to start work on the 15th August with Time Teams own Sumo Survey headed up by John Gator.

We are all looking forward to the results which we expect to be able to release to the public, some time in September.
