Whilst we are confident that we hve found the Palace, we still have some unresolved questions. Where was the entrance to the Palace? What was it made of? What was the layout of the Palace? Where was the banqueting house. Many of these questions can be resolved with archeology and we have a series of digs planned for 2024.

We aim to try to find out further understanding of what happened when Henry 8th would arrive at Palaces such as Collyweston along with 200-300 of his staff. Where did they live, what did they eat, what was the impact on the wider economic area of the village etc

Once we have completed our archeology we hope to be able to provide some artists impressions and look to setup a legacy of the Palace for future generations through a permanent exhibition in St Andrews Church Collyweston.
